Kimberlogic

I live by the motto of always trying everything at least once.

I grew up outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and later moved around the States. During my third year of University I studied in Australia. While traveling around Australia, I met Ming Hay. I eventually returned to the States and started up a gastro-brewpub.

Spending the better of ten years managing bars and kitchens, I was looking for a change. That change came in the form of a postcard invitation to travel half of the world on a bicycle with Ming Hay. Believing he was insane, and not having seen him for years, I declined the invite, but met him in Hong Kong upon his arrival home from the seven month journey.

As if no time had passed between us over those nine years, things fell into place. Less than a year later, my dog, Dill, and I were on a plane back to Hong Kong to join Ming Hay and his travel companion, Dantat.

Now in my thirties, I reside on the small island of Peng Chau, in Hong Kong. I have a passion for traveling, partaking in local food and drink, different cultures and customs and watching people react to the world around them. I have a love for nature’s landscapes and climates which keeps me always searching for my next experience.

Did I mention that I despise monkeys?
